Project Location: 10 stores across the United Kingdom 
Scope of Work: 
As part of a phased rollout Workspace Audio Visual delivered AV solutions to the first half of Luke1977’s UK retail stores. Each store was equipped with two high-brightness digital screens mounted on wheeled stands, enabling staff to reposition displays for maximum impact depending on seasonal promotions, featured products, or campaign focus. 

  1. The Client’s Challenge

Luke1977 identified a gap in customer engagement within their retail spaces. While competitors had already adopted dynamic digital display strategies, Luke1977’s stores relied primarily on static visual merchandising. The brand needed a way to create more interactive and attention-grabbing in-store experiences that could be adapted quickly to align with promotions or seasonal shifts. 

An AV solution was essential to: 

  • Increase in-store customer engagement 
  • Deliver more impactful promotional content 
  • Keep pace with competitors’ digital marketing approaches 
  1. The Solution Provided

AV Solutions Implemented: 

  • Two Samsung high-bright screens per store, mounted on mobile wheeled stands 

Why This Solution Was Chosen: 
The combination of high-bright displays and maneuverable stands offered maximum flexibility. Staff could easily relocate screens to highlight specific products or promotions, ensuring displays always served as focal points. The system was fully wireless, making content changes quick and intuitive.

  1. The Installation Process

Workspace AV managed the project from initial planning to final testing. Key steps included: 

  • Planning & Design: Developed a scalable rollout plan to meet KPI targets across multiple store locations. 
  • Proof of Concept (POC): Conducted a rapid, one-day test to confirm that high-bright screens could maintain visibility in direct sunlight – results exceeded expectations. 
  • Installation & Testing: All equipment was delivered, bench-tested, and assembled on-site within the agreed timeframes. 

Challenges & Resolutions: 
A primary consideration was ensuring the screens would remain visually effective in bright environments. The POC validated their performance, allowing the project to move forward with confidence. 

  1. The Results & Impact

The installation of flexible high-bright displays significantly improved in-store visual engagement. The ability to reposition screens gave staff control over how and where customers’ attention was drawn, allowing for tailored promotional strategies in each store.
