Marc Thrush

Co-Founder

Marc’s AV career began in 2002, pulling and terminating cables with AV industry royalty Mark Sutcliffe and John Lockwood. In 2005 he joined Research Machines in the implementation team focusing on Building Schools of the Future. moving from engineering to product specialist standardising the AV hardware offering and installation BoM. Tenures followed at manufacturer Vogels and distributors True Colours (Midwich), Micro-P (Exertis), Steljes, Tech Data, before heading back into vendor land in 2015 with ZeeVee, where he specialised in AV over IP. He also worked at the SDVoE Alliance before returning to integration in 2018 with Visavvi.

Marc’s extensive experience means he understands the key pillars of the industry inside out, which pays dividends when it comes to fulfilling systems and managing expectations for Workspace Audio Visual’s clients. Together with Pete Morrison, he co-founded the company at the tail end of the pandemic. Frustrated with the existing state of the industry, the two business partners were determined to provide customers with a better experience.

Marc’s role primarily focuses on building partnerships with customers and suppliers, and his infectious enthusiasm for tech mean he’s always looking at the latest trend and finding ways to innovate.

Outside of work, Marc can be found driving around the countryside in his Tesla Model 3. Even though he’s had the car for over six months at the time of writing, he’s still in his honeymoon period and is back behind the driver’s seat at any opportunity!
