Tell us a bit about your work history:
I’ve worked in business development for a number of years across the IT and AV industries, mainly focused on building client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and driving growth. I’ve always enjoyed the mix of people, strategy, and problem-solving that comes with the role.
What does your typical working day look like?
Usually a mix of meetings, calls, chasing leads, following up with clients, and working with the wider team. No two days are ever exactly the same, which keeps it interesting.
What’s your favourite thing about your job?
Definitely the people side of it — building relationships and helping solve real business challenges. There’s a good sense of achievement when things come together.
What do you think are the three biggest skills you bring to work?
Clear and honest communication.
Ability to build strong, long-term relationships.
Keeping things moving to get the job done.
What are the key ingredients you think help create a happy workplace?
Trust, a decent sense of humour, and people who’ve got each other’s backs.
Outside of work, where are you happiest?
With the Mrs or at the gym. (Usually both)
Love a little hike and good conversation.
Name one interesting fact people might not know about you:
God I’m boring, ummmm. Recently bought a flat so lots of focus there, furnishing and decorating. Pool table is in, so the priorities are covered!
I have a Lenny Cat who keeps me sane and I’ve somehow managed to convince a girl that I’m a decent bloke. Winning.
Oh, and I don’t drink. Usually causes a stir.
