Tell us a bit about your work history:
I’ve been in the industry now for 12 years, straight from school I got an apprenticeship with an AV company and went to college to do an NVQ in electrical engineering. I’ve worked in nearly every position over the years from install and design to service and commissioning but found my place with programming.
What does your typical working day look like?
Most of the time you’ll find me sat behind a pc monitor with my headphones on writing a program file or creating a graphical user interface.
What’s your favourite thing about your job?
Learning about and incorporating new products that I haven’t used or programmed before is always fun but it’s the customer satisfaction when they see and use their new system
What do you think are the three biggest skills you bring to work?
Commitment (to the client), Dedication (to my craft) and the Pursuit of perfection.
What are the key ingredients you think help create a happy workplace?
It’s all about the team, not having a good team is like having a boat without oars.
Outside of work, where are you happiest?
Going on random adventures with friends.
Name one interesting fact people might not know about you:
I have an unhealthy sneaker obsession.
